Catholic Youth Organization
(High-school Youth Group)

The CYO meets on Sunday afternoons from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the church, roughly coinciding with the school year. Meetings involve lessons on the Catholic faith and Christian discipleship, games and activities, and fellowship.  All meetings are conducted in an atmosphere of safety and mutual respect and are open to young men and women from the ninth through the twelfth grades.  Additionally, parents are welcome and are encouraged to help out as volunteers, or just to drop by and visit. 

The CYO also coordinates with the Diocese of Charleston’s Office of Youth Ministry to provide opportunities for our youth to attend state-wide events, such as the Diocesan Youth Conference, SEARCH Retreat, youth rallies, and the Christian Leadership Institute (a week-long summer program).
