A community developing in faith and maturing in spirituality
This year our Religious Education classes are held in offsite facilities. Over 200 children enrolled in the classes and 20 to 25 adult teachers and aides help with their instructions and religious formation.
Our high school students, the Senior CYO, meets regularly for both instruction and social events. A highlight of their year is their attendance at the Diocesan Youth Conference at White Oak.
Adults also take part in religious education. The ministries’ preparation classes provide instruction on how to properly perform each particular ministry. An Advent Evening of Bible Study and prayer focuses on the Infancy Narratives. Every other Wednesday evening, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults provides catechesis for adults who wish to enter into full communion with the Church. Every other Thursday morning, adults gather for Bible Study discussion.
